Who we are / our story

The authors were introduced by a mutual friend whilst living and working London in health care. They enjoyed trips and tours including children’s functions around London, and the rest of UK.

Rai is a Chihera, Zimbabwean British. She loves people, food, travelling, nature, architecture, beautiful gardens, growing organic vegetables and fruits. She has worked in various roles in healthcare. She lives in London with her husband and children. She has 100 fold of relatives from her spiritual family and origins. Living in London, a diverse city inspired her to contribute by digging deeper into heritage treasures . Discovering other people’s heritage treasures: cultural and or natural is continually enhancing her life for the best. Rai, says not sharing and discovering more with others is unforgivable.

Esti is of mixed heritage of Zimbabwe and Malawi and grew up in both countires. Esti believes that everyone’s story matters and is uniquely yours. She asserts that sharing cultural stories with others fosters understanding, creates connections and respect. Esti has worked in healthcare in South Africa, Fiji, the United States, Saudi Arabia, and the United Kingdom and visited China and Canada where she had the opportunity to share experiences with, and learn from people of different cultures. Esti lives in the Kruger2Canyon Biosphere Reserve area in South Africa. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the intricate workings of nature in the wild places of southern Africa, traveling and interacting with people from different cultures exploring their traditions, music, art and crafts.
